Behold, the moon has been sighted, announcing the arrival of the sacred month of Muharram** With its advent, poignant recollections resurface, enveloping the hearts, recalling the sorrowful plight of the revered princes, Hazrat Imam Hussain and his beloved kin** Only Allah comprehends the enigma behind this tragedy, for He alone carries out His divine will according to His wisdom and decree**

  • The moon has been sighted. The month of Muharram has set in. It has brought in its wake the pathetic memories of the princes - the Prophet’s grandson Hazrat lmam Hussain and his near and dear ones. Allah alone knows the mystery of the tragedy. Verily He does what He pleases!
Verily Allah does what He pleases! (14, Al-Hajj)

Month of Muharram starts, restless are two Imams,
God ordains what He pleaseth and knows the reason why.

Muharram moon is sighted; grieving of the princes resurges,
Allah alone knows, He does what He pleases.
